Spend a night on a boat in Halong Bay
Breathtaking Ha Long Bay in Vietnam is an absolute must see for those travelling to Vietnam. Sitting in the Gulf of Tonkin, 170 kilometres from Hanoi, Halong Bay has over 2000 limestone islands which rise spectacularly out of the sea.
You can spend days exploring the islands and caves by kayak or cruising on a traditional style junk boat. However an overnight tour, sleeping on the boat, is one of the best options to take in Halong Bay. Cruise the bay during the day seeing the sights, and in the evening enjoy a few cold refreshments on the top deck taking in a magical sunset with the dramatic backdrop of the limestone cliffs will lift your spirits and take your breath away.
